Cancel Sent Check

Overview

Cancel a sent check on DocuPost by navigating to the mail detail page and using the Cancel option if within the allowed time window.

Cancelling Sent Checks

  1. Click 'Checks' from the left sidebar

  2. Identify check you wish to cancel and click to access Check details page

  3. Click the 'Cancel' button in the upper right

  4. Confirm the cancellation if prompted

  5. Check the status of your mail

Cancellation Window

After sending a check, you have a limited time window to cancel it. This window typically ranges from 5 minutes to a few hours. It is important to act quickly if you need to cancel a check. If you do not see the red "Cancel send" button, this means that the cancellation window has closed and there is no way to cancel your check mailing.

If you miss this cancellation window, the check will proceed to the recipient. Therefore, make sure to check and cancel the check as soon as possible if a mistake occurs.
