After mailing a document or postcard, DocuPost provides a preview of the mailing from your dashboard. This preview includes return and recipient address information.
While address information and mailing dates remain active in your account, previews of the content of your documents and postcards are removed after ninety (90) days from the date of the mailing, by default.
You have the option to customize the number of days that document preview PDFs should remain available for viewing, ranging from 90 to 1095 days, via the Document Preview Retention Periodsection within the Account page.
In line with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, this retention policy ensures data security and privacy.
If you misplace the originally uploaded materials and wish to keep the contents of mailings, you can download the content from your dashboard before the 90-day retention period ends.
Data Types Retained
After mailing a document or postcard, DocuPost retains several types of data to help you manage and track your mailings.
Document Previews: A preview of your mailed document or postcard is available from your dashboard.
Address Information: Both the recipient and return addresses are retained and can be accessed from your account.
Mailing Dates: The dates on which your mailings were sent are also retained for your reference.
DocuPost does not make available to you the content of your documents or postcards beyond the preview period. To keep a copy of your mailing contents, download them before they are removed.

Update Your Passwords Often
Regularly updating your passwords helps keep your data secure. This is particularly important to maintain HIPAA compliance and protect your information.
In addition, you can download your uploaded documents from your dashboard to keep personal backups. This ensures that you have control over your information even if it's no longer available on DocuPost.
